Here they are... before i put it in my racecar trailer next week- im going to detail the bottom of the car- (dusty).. I bought a set of powder coated coil(less) valve covers- and going to be installing them soon.. more pictures to come..
Let me know what ya think.. I spent alot of time with the engine compartment- and there are still places that need attention....

The dirt looks to be caked on there pretty good. Clean them out really good 1st and see what your left with. If the inner hoops are also polished and still really dirty after you washed them, you'll probably have to take some sand paper to them. After that the powerball with some aluminum polish will take care of the rest.

What Willwood brakes are those? Summit sells a 4 piston kit for my car that I was interested in. I am curious what you have and if you like them for street driving?
Car looks great BTW.

I was going to suggest the same thing MadIce did about the barrels. That is a VERY easily overlooked area and thus a VERY easy way to win points by having clean barrels.
It looks like you'll need to do a couple steps on those. First, douse them with some All Purpose Cleaner or some Eagle A2Z All Wheel Cleaner and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Spray another light coat and agitate them with a brush and let sit for another 10 minutes. Rinse them clean. Get out a dirty clay bar, or start using a clay bar dedicated solely to wheels, and get to work on those bad boys. Then, use some #0000 steel wool and some bug and tar remover to clean up the rest of the crap. Then, you will have a good idea of what places need to be sanded to get them clean. If necessary, use some 3000 grit wet sand paper (moving down to 2000 ONLY where absolutely necessary) and clean the necessary areas. Once satisfied, finish up with a powerball and some polish (depending on what the rims are composed of). And, last but not least, do yourself a favor and apply 2 coats of NuFinish sealant (very cheap and very effective) each a day apart to protect from that crap in the future.
