Default computer tuning

So i just bought a 95 lt1 camaro m6 i was just wondering if anyone knows of a universal computer tuning program for lt1's and ls1's my buddy has an ls1 and we are both wondering if there is a universal tuning program for a laptop so that we could both tune our cars for half the price. Any info would be greatly appreciated

ok well if there is not a universal one what would be the cheapest computer tuning program that a guy could get his hands on.

you could get hp tuners or something silmilar together, and then get the credits for your individual car.

Yes there is a tuning program!!! It's called jet dynamic spectrum tuner. It's 375.00 on jegs, and it comes with two licenses. You can tune ls1's, vortec's, and lt-1's with the same program. It use to be called tuner cat, but they sold the obd2 stuff to jet.

*You will then need to go to monodax.com and purchase there scan log software for 70.00. It does interface with the jet cable.

AFAIK your '95 LT1 is OBD I (although it probably has what appears to be an OBD II connector), so the original TunerCat, still available, is probably what you want. It's somewhat cheaper than the one King mentioned, although, alas, it won't help with your buddy's LS1.

Plenty of threads on this subject here and otherwhere. Do some research.

Oh **** I forgot your obd1, nevermind! Sorry, I was thinkin you were obd2. Tunercat has software for your obd1 as well does craig moates. Most likely you guy's will have to buy seperate tuning software. IMO If I was your buddy with the ls1, I would not mess with anything but hp tuners
