oh....trust me....it was *speaks slowly* SLOW MOTION compared to races in the cobra! im actually talking to the guy about trading the cars straight up with me giving him some cash.
he wants something faster, more solid, and a better engine to make fast. and i want something to handle better through our canyon runs. he drove mine and I drove his and i really like how his handles. hopefully he'll trade!

For what he's looking to do, it would be much smarter to use that Civic... getting that Cobra (or any Mustang, really) to a level where it's REALLY good at canyon carving requires a good bit of money, will inhibit straightline performance, and is much harder when it weighs over a thousand pounds more than the Civic to begin with. Yes the Civic is FWD, but that isn't really a big deal in corners like that, especially with a light car.

Yeah, but it's still a 3,600lb SRA car who's basic platform was designed in 1978. While it might stick to corners well once it gets set (as long as they're smooth), a sub-2500lb car with 4-wheel double wishbone independent suspension is still gonna be more nimble.
