Thanks for the info.

Anyone want to start a group purchase for the 65073 Headers and 6701 mounting plates?

VERY interested in a set of xbody LSx headers, but no one seems to know anything about them.

The only pictures we currently have are for the A-body headers and plates, I will see if there are going to be any taken. If I have too I can take pics of the samples myself.

+2...There are a lot of G-Body's that are motivated by the mighty Ls series of engines.

Yeah, I'm impressed with the A body stuff. Just interested in how the headers (maybe plates) will work with the parts I already have.

Did a little looking on Jegs and didn't find the parts, where might be a good place to look? Heard great things about Edelbrock, but since they dont make any Grand National or Gbody stuff I have never bought anything... The X-body headers greatly interest me, especially if they are reasonably priced! Just started on the 69 nova!

Yup. I've got the same response from most the folks I've contacted. I might have to settle for something else.

I talked to the sales staff about the fact that no one seems to know about a header that we currently have in the warehouse... Sales should have contacted both Jegs and Summit by now and they should have listing for them, if not they can call us and get pricing infomation. They are correcting the information on all of the conversion headers for both.

I ordered a set of 65073 headers and 6701 mounting plates from Summit last night. They both were on back order with an expected arrival of Oct. 2nd but I ordered them anyway since I was already ordering some other parts. I go to check my order status today to get the tracking number for my other parts and now the expected arrival date for the headers is Oct. 12th! The mounting plates are still expected on Oct. 2nd though. I hope it doesn't take that long but by they seem real nice so it might be worth the wait I guess.

I just picked up my 65063's this weekend. They look great! The stainless steel is not polished though. Kind of a rough finish but I like it. Anybody know if they need to be power coated to keep their good looks?

You might be able to find someone that can electro-polish them.

Lightbulb 1988-1998 GM Trucks(aka OBS)

For us OBS truck/LS1 conversion guys, it would be interesting to know if Edelbrock has test fitted their G-Body full length headers to our trucks, considering that the Street and Performance G-Body mid-length headers fit. It would be soooo-easy to check this out & they would then have an additional application, that they didn't know they had, without the additional tooling.
