I have a 98 formula firebird, would a trans am hatch bolt right up in place of mine?

Yes it will, any trans am hatch from 93-02.

make sure you buy the whole hatch and spoiler it will fit perfectly like others have said also be sure to get those hatch struts from the TA as well they are stronger I've upgraded hatches and you wouldn't believe the weight gain, but it is cool to be a little different
