Default i need a link for ls6 intake install

i remember reading a thread about how to install an ls6 intake without removing the stock ls1 coolant lines. it had pictures of the bottom of the intake having all the fins shaved off

can someone please send me a link to this thread?

www.ls1howto.com just look for ls6 install or a heads cam install! Both you have to pull the intake it will show you how and you will need 01-02 coolant tubes to fit under the intake or you can grind the bottom of your intake to clear your coolant pipes

LS1howto is a huge help in doing the install, and basically is right on for what you need to do. For removing the fins use a chisel & hammer. It'll take only take you 5-10 minutes and remember to remove the fins that are under the 2 foam pads.
