LC1 wide band question
i have an inovative LC1 wide band and i believe its a XD16 gauge... now i have it wired into my interface for my Hptuners. on the Pid it reads normal for A/F now on the guage it reads off from that. like for example 4 to 9 i havent paid attention if it reads lower or higher but thats the range i know of. Any reason this is like this?

You need to make sure HPTuners reads what the XD-1 gauge reads...the XD-1 is being fed by a different signal that isn't subject to calibration or setup issues, so it is indeed the truth source. Can you give some more details of what exactly is going on? I'm kinda lost...

The gauge itself only reads and displays what the LC-1 tells it...at least the number portion of the XD-1. The only thing you can calibrate on that gauge is the "needle" portion, as you can assign the range of AFRs to display around the full sweep. You can, however, calibrate the LC-1 itself, and that is where you need to pay close attention and make sure that the HPTuners interface and the XD-1 are reading as close to identical as possible.

stoich is 14.7 so mine will be for example on my cruise in the low 15's and @ wot 12.8.......so you don't seem to have much of an issue.....unless its in the 15's @ wot!

i have an lm-1 and an lc-1
the lc-1 reads about .6-.8 richer than the lm-1
i did free air cal on both, same deal
i replaced the sensors on both, same thing
i kind of believe the lm-1, it seems to be more forgiving, where the lc-1 needs cal more
i even used a heat synk on both sensors
