Default getting the black crap off my bumper

very shortly after my engine build i drove my car to put a few miles on her before my tune. apparently she was running a bit rich and on my bumber, just above the passenger side exhaust tip, i have a nice black residue on my car. Being that the car is WHITE, it really shows and pisses me off everytime i open the garage door and see it parked there. ive washed the car several times, but nothing extra. Has anyone else experienced this? What would be the best was to get the " smoke stain" off my baby???

Wet a Bounce dryer sheet and rub the black areas.

Ive bought the clay bar kit but havent used it yet thinking i might want to get the black area clean first. Wet a bounce dryer sheet? Are you serious? If that does work, I wonder how the first person to ever try that came up with the idea....

That's a good way to scratch the paint.

Wash>>Clay>>Compound>>Polish.
