please fill me in with what your times are, what tires you run, and current mods

im trying to see how my cousins car stacks up.
his cur is a bolt on car, mac mids, tune, ls6 intake plate with a 75 shot very basic suspention. daily driven, full size rim/tires with MT drag radials out back 275's
moser 12 bolt.
the car rips off 11.7's all day long at 118-120, but doesnt hook for ****.
but to me the car seems to be a real good runner. with the 100 shot it spins worse, but picks up big mph 123-125 with 100 shot.
what do you guys with sim mods run?

the list is good, but doesnt give the specs on cars. id like to compair his car never removed a valve cover, or anything. just seeing if he is on par.

What are his suspension mods? When my car was a 6 speed on a 150 shot i used to go low 1.7 in a 3800 pound car with me in it. It was an 11.8 car at like 118 (lt1). I had full BMR stuff and stock shocks. Get a set of qa1's and i gurantee it will hook great. Weight transfer is huge. Im sure you already know this but just giving some advice.

he has lower controll arms (no relocation yet) pan hard bar and qa1 rear shocks.
he ordered sub frames, relocations, and we are going to put a tq arm in it, im sure that will help as well.
he wants to do some silly stuff, i told him his next big mod should be a k-member, a-arms and qa1 fronts

When my car had just bolt ons and a 100 dry shot, my car ran a 12.5. This was on some snow flakes with drag radials. My 60' was 2.0x or something.

I am a terrible driver so that doesn't help. I had no suspension mods either, but I would say his car stacks up nice.

I'd say his car is a pretty good runner. I see M6 N2O Cam only & M6 N20 H/C/I run 11.5-10.5 on 150 shots. So for your cuz's car to run 11.7 with just boltons and a 75 shot is pretty good. With a decent cam that likes N2O for example 231/237 I would think he'd easily be 11.2-11.0 maybe even high 10s depending on traction.

i think with 100 shot and the rest of the suspention done that car will run 11.4-11.5 all day. he is a NOYZEE boy, so he drives it like he hates it!!

Damn 123-125 traps with bolt ons and a 100 shot!! Thats a lot of mph

i thought it to be good but had nothing to compare it to. my vett with 125 went 128 mph, but its spinn city

Yeah, BayArea make a good point. If your cuz's car traps 119-120 all day long on a 75 shot then he might be close to 130s on a 150 shot. I'd say he's got a bit of a factory freak. What does your cuz's car run N/A?
