I was talking to A guy on sunday who said he has a 98-02 OEM SS hood for sale that was on a 95 v6 car (converted front). He replaced it with a lighter hood when he went to a twin turbo sbc from a carbed motor. Wants 450 for it and is in mint condition. I was thinking about it or going with a pin on sunoco hood instead (lighter) anybody know if an extended hood will clear wipers ? Car is NOT a dd, no ac ps heat etc.

that's a good deal man. i got mine for $600 but it is a fiberglass one.

If that's a real deal OEM SS hood in great condition than $450 isn't a bad price at all.
