I'm going to be buying my friends sts kit that he had installed on his v6 Camaro. The turbo is not going to be used because it is too small. So it will have everything except the turbo and intercooler.

I'm new to FI, my car has a 230/230 comp xer cam, ss4000, 60lb injectors, ls6 intake, 241 heads with PRC dual springs. What would be a good turbo to combine with my current list of mods and what could I expect for numbers? Also what kind of money would I spend broken down to realistically finish this list?

i'll say a gt67 is good for about 600rwhp maxed out...
but everything in his kit is to small...wstgate, blwvalve, pipes...
u would be better off spending once instead of twice. (buy new for you)
...not trying to rain on your parade but it's not applicable...

I'm pretty sure that he bought the one that was for the ls1 and downgraded the turbo to fit his application.

It is a ls1 kit minus the turbo. I just talked to him. He said that he ordered the ls1 kit from them and they substituted the smaller turbo in for him.
