Default New Era Injector Cleaning?

I didn't even realize they did it until recently, has anyone had them do it? 80 bucks or so for a set of 8 doesn't seem too bad. I have some SVOs that I wouldn't mind having flowed if they are that cheap. Just looking for feedback on those who have done it. Thanks.

Good to hear. I was quite surprised to see the price, as if I recall correctly RC Engineering wanted like 25 bucks an injector... I'll give them a call and see what turnaround time is. Thanks.

Mike Frumusa and the folks at New Era are great to work with. I've had 2 sets of injectors cleaned by them. They are very professional, fast, and competant. They have the best price too. You can't beat having 8 injectors cleaned, flowed (both statically and dynamically), new o-rings and included shipping both ways and still be under $100. I'd recommend this to anybody thinking about buying used injectors. Think of it as preventative maintenance on your engine. As much as these types of parts get traded around on these boards there is no telling where your used injectors have been in and subjected too.

We do injector servicing as well, our price for a top feed injector is $15 each. Turnaround is usually the same day we get them.

1) Injectors are externally cleaned, visual inspected

2) We test injectors for resistance, shorts, and current draw.

3) We perform leak test, spray pattern, and flow rate testing on one of our 3 ASNU flow benchs. All data is recorded and sent to you.

4) Remove filter baskets, o-rings, and pintle caps. Metal injectors are bead blasted to remove old paint and rust from the injector body.

5) The injectors are placed in a heated ultrasonic bath to insure that the injector is free of dirt and contamenants that could hinder the rest of the process.

6) The injectors are now put into another ultrasonic system while they are pulsed allowing the ultrasonic energy to dislodge any particles and build-up inside the injectors.

7) The injectors are now back flowed to remove all debris, etc.

8) The injectors are now returned to the flow bench for retesting of all functions. The data from this test is returned to you in detail with your injectors.

9) The injectors are now refinished with high temp paint. the stainless steel injectors are polished to a high finish.

10) One of our techs. now reassembles the injector, using all new parts.

11) The injectors are then vac sealed and packaged for shipment along with the old parts.

Resurecting this one. Anyone else ever use New Era? Their price is still $80 and is really tough to beat!

Nevermind...... I just received this from New Era:

I'm very sorry for the inconvenience, unfortunately we do not offer this service anymore. The machine was damaged in the shop fire and is unusable. I just got done taking the service off our website.
