I figured it wouldn't be as close as they are claiming it will be. They are saying it is easily making around 350rwhp and will run high 12's. I found it hard to believe that I car that can't even put 200rwhp stock will be able to put 350rwhp with a baby cam and some not so great heads. He has gears as well.
Ill see how my high 12 second car does.

i beat a guy with a 1998 full bolt ons and a 100shot 5 speed. all i had 2 do was get a good launch and it was all over. but one launch we were both dead even till 90mph then i pulled a fender and he let off. but in ur case ur gonna lay a beating on him. remember it takes those gts full bolt ons and a 100shot 2 get a solid victory on a stock ls1.

I raced my friends 95 gt e303 cam exhuast and 4.10 gears and this was in my old lt1 car, and it was a bad race i would spin bad or sissy launch but still walk right by him and pull pretty good i had cam and gears. Good luck you should walk all over him easy.

Is he running a five-speed? Stock gears?
With a stick and gears, I could see him getting mid 13s with a hard launch, drag radials and the right shifting. A friend of mine managed 14.4s in his 180,000 mile '92 with a five-speed and 2.73'd peg-legging LSD. All that car had was an H-pipe and Flowmasters.
Regardless, you're still putting out damn near 100 more rwhp. He'd need a hellacious launch to get his 60ft down. Then he'd have you playing catch up, but still sailing past him soon thereafter.
