Default New C6 cam soundbite...



This is an 05 LS2 C6 mn6 with a Vararam, FAST, Harland Sharp 1.7" rockers, Kooks 1 3/4" long-tubes, x-pipe with cats, cat-back and tune. The cam is a Comp Cam 230/236 .613/.608 113lsa on XFI lobes. The latest dyno:

The cam sounds a lot bigger than it is.....

Honestly it sounds killer with it off idle or more... but sounds like an old farm tractor at idle. Eww.

Oh yeah. Of course my clutch is really starting to stick in to the floor now. I've got to stay on top of the fluid changes. No more back to back runs.

is you car on stock exhaust? do they have an H-pipe? if so, lose that and it'll take care of the john deere tractor sound that was mentioned. my C5 did that until i got the xPipw

wow...I just noticed how close your dyno numbers are to mine...cool ! Of course, I went with the L92 heads, mild cam, headers,vararam and tune for my 450/405, but I have added an slp loudmouth 2 that may have bumped up those numbers a slight amount. Good job on modding !!! Hope to see more vids from you soon.

My guess is you make more average torque and hp though.
