I have a 1998 Trans Am and it has LT ory and corsa exhuast and a 3500 stall. Well my car has been sitting over the last 2-3 years getting a front end motor etc.. (Bought the car wen i was 17) Me and my bro have been putting it togohter and just got it done the other day and drove it for the first time. I dont no if it needs to get tuned for the egr tooken off or wat but wen you get on it it starts popping really bad and the code on the scanner said missing on all 8 cylinders??? I did notice my battary guage was moving and i pegged it out and wouldn't charge and then it took a ****. Could that be the problem maybe not enough power or to much??? Thanks guys for your imput..

Low batt volts, shorts. Check all the wiring, batt volts, and have the alternator tested.
Battery been sitting while the car was down? If so, could have dead cells, shorted plates.
Check all grounds.

Some of the wires by the batt were loose tighten them new battary and the alternator was bad waiting on new one.
