I'm looking for ideas to add to the appearance of my car. Things I know I need to do: lower it, touch up some areas in the engine compartment (where hood latch went, overspray, etc.). I'm thinking of a black EWP, and maybe pulling my intake and painting it either to match the car or something other than black. I think I have too much black there all together. Remember, the car is not clean in these pictures, sorry.

You could try painting the intake a silver, gray, or aluminum type color, but the black doesn't look bad at all. I really like the MBA cylinder head plates...they add a nice touch of class.

Nice, touching up that overspray is a good idea, and ditto on the non-intake-painting thing. As Steve would say you need a base color, a secondary color, and an accent color.
You've got your base (orange) and your secondary (black) you just need an accent color. IMO, silver would go with the aluminum dress-up pieces that you already have. Maybe some silver FRC's and some silver graphics on the lid, and maybe on the sides under the shock mounts (looks a bit bare)

Actually, I have a head plate, it just isn't on right now, I had to change heads and haven't moved it over yet. Yeah, I was thinking silver might look good on the intake.

How about this:

paint intake silver, airbox silver too?
polish fuel rails
fix overspray, touch up areas

I don't really want FRCs or anything on the shock towers. It does kind of look bare, but my goal has been to have a clean car, and I think that might not go with the rest of the car.

What about painting the taillights with VHT Nightshades? Any thought on that?

I'm gonna try painting the oil and tranny dipsticks tonight. I used to have a pimp Lokar dipstick, but it broke off in the engine.

with that particular wheel tire set-up it'd look awesome to lower it some. too much wheel well space in my optinion. Love the color. I agree with silver intake manifold. very clean. If u say those pics are when it was dirty Id LOVE to see pics of it clean well I gotta run work is gonna come early in the mornin. Laterz Justin

That is how I drive it everyday, but the car was not cranked. Not sure if you mean could it crank or was it actually running. The reason it sits so high is because there isn't quite as much weight holding it down.

Lots of stuff. Power steering and HVAC are gone, battery in trunk, new catch can, relocated coils.

I can only guess on the weight. I weighed it a while back at 3160 without me. Lots of stuff has come off/been changed out since then. 3030 maybe?
