not too bad, your 60' could be better ( i got a 2.069 60' in my S10 with an open rear and 205 All terrain tires) and looking at the video, it looks kinda like you need to work on your lights too

keep at it

Good run man, that's basically a stock Z28 time slip. With some practice you should shave at least .5 secs off. Few minor mods will dip into the high 12s! F T W!

I hope, long tubes and td's will be my next mod, then probably some lca's and sfc. Real worried about that rear end so I dont launch the car much or any at all. I slip it at about 2k.

What gears? Seemed like you spent a long time in first.

Hit that thing harder off of the line.. you should be getting 1.8 60s. Every tenth off of your sixty is two tenths off on the big end, in general.

Nice, I like how you ran the gt down real quick though. My first run at the track was about .6 seconds slower than my quickest time with the same mods done. As long as you have fun though, don't be too worried about busting out the best et every time.

i find for the best launch on street tires, get the tires nice and sticky with a good burnout, and hold the revs around 3.5-4k. quickly let the clutch out but not so much as to let the revs get below 3k. race as normal.

not sure what was done to the gt, it ended up running like a 15.5 or something, the really weird thing is, the guy stared me down in the staging lanes and after we raced him and like 3 of his buddies stared at me when I parked it just after that. I was like wow its just a race. .... and an LS1

Good first time.

First time at the track I ran like mid 14 or some **** like that. And my car was/is cammed, stalled and bolts ons with Nittos DRs.

That same car runs 11.9, the only difference I now have MT DR's, instead of the Nittos.

It's all in the launch.
