Fogger nozzle limits???
Dynoed the car today with and without the spray first baseline pull was 335rwhp with 336tq only mods are a TR220 and a lid. Then with the 150 pills in it dynoed 440/503, so I changed the jets to the 175 and it pulled 434/548 WTF is going on. Everything checked out perfect A/F was 12.1 bottle pressure was at 1050. Seems that there is some kind of restriction in the system? the system is a basic nos wet kit with super power shot solenoids. Give me some ideas what to check for. I was thinking that the nozzle it at its limits?? Or maybe the fact that I still have the stock exhaust system with cats?

Your fuel pump can only supply so much. You probly max'd it out with the 175 jets. Lots of guys that us NX go from the 100 or 125 to the 150 and find that they loose power and start to run lean. Others say its the intake. Was your A/F in the 11's then dipped into 12 up top? 12.1 is nice though.

No it was in the high 10's then I leaned it out with a diffrent jet size until 12.1, seems if it were running out of fuel it should be lean?

Re: Fogger nozzle limits???
First on the 150 it was 63/34 then on the 175 70/38 and lean it out to 32 so it was a good A/F. The torque went up a bit but hp dropped??

Also main line can limit.... I run the TNT dual fogger #52 jets for the 150 and I would think that the main supply line is a limiting factor after awhile...I knew a guy that ran open single fogger dry kit (no jets) and ran some good numbers.....on a completely stock ws6....

Re: Fogger nozzle limits???
Im running a 300 shot through my main -4 feed line. So thats not an issue at that level.
If you want more power Id look nto upgrading the solinoids..both of them. But of course be sure you wioll have the fuel to handle it. Also I would try atleast a cutout to free up some exhaust flow.

Re: Fogger nozzle limits???
I have cheater solenoids on my NOS kit and i can only get 125 rwhp out of the nos fogger setup no matter what jets i throw in it.
Purchase a Nitrous Express Fogger and stick it in, You can then go up to 175 horsepower on your nitrous kit and just keep the rest of your nos kit.

Re: Fogger nozzle limits???
I think the NOS fogger nozzle is limited in how much it can flow. I removed my NOS fogger nozzle and took it apart just to see what it looks like and i think i found my restriction in my system. The jets i run are 150 to the wheels 63/32. I run 11.60@118 and can not get any more mph . I replaced the noids with much bigger, then added long tube headers and y pipe but still no mph at the track. The 63 jet is bigger than the opening inside the fogger nozzle.(look for yourself). I am switching to an NX shark nozzle and retesting at the track for mph increase.
I ran back to back runs with the 100 shot in and then the 150 shot jets and no difference in mph with the o2 readings in the 940 range, not lean.
Hope this helps some,Good luck.
By the way , nice numbers!!

Re: Fogger nozzle limits???
I took my nozzle apart and you are right, very much a restriction in the system so I will need to get something different there also,
