Default Car won't turn over

Ok so i was trying to make it to the gas station and the car ran out right before could turn in...I had to push it to the gas station and only had enough money on me for a gallon of gas so i put that in and didnt start i tried starting it for about 2 minutes and then it stopped turning over. I called my friend who lent me 20 bucks so i put 4.5 gallons in there and the car is not even clicking or turning over...I tried jumping and chargin the car and nothing happened.. Does anyone know what could possibly be wrong? Any input would be great. Thanks

Running it dry likely killed your fuel pump.

I'm not sure if your car has one, but some cars also has a sensor that shuts the the fuel pump off to avoid damaging / sucking air into the line if you run dry. You might have a code locking your fuel line off. If you have a scanner check for codes, otherwise I hear tell disconnecting the battery for 30 seconds will sometimes clear the code off.

i bet you fried your fuel pump..they dont even like it if they are ran under a 1/4...check and see if your fuel pump even is running for your initial prime when you hit your key to the on position....no fuel pump try and disconnect your battery for five minutes to reset all your codes...do these two tests...only things i could even think go possibly be wrong with your ride man
