Evan smith kills C6Z06 with 2008 Viper
We all know Evan Smith right...Reguarded as the best mag racer period from what I understand...
A year and a half ago Evan of Fast fords and mustangs magazine ran a 11.4 at 125 mph in a 100% bone stock C6Z06...Incredibly fast time for a 100% stock production car...Have other actual owners beaten that time in their stock C6Z06's..Oh yea..But Evan Smith has a bit more credibility than Joe Smo saying my car is 100% stock and ran this ( only for others to later say that his car didnt have cats ect.)
Well Evan Smith recently set a new personal record in both ET and MPH in any 100% bone stock production vehicle he had ever tested knocking the C6Z06 down from number 1 to number 2..
In a bone stock 2008 Viper he ran a 11.3 at 128 mph..
I salute you Z06..Even 2 years later your performance is still on par with the best of the best out theyre..But a kill is a kill..
As well Boosted ran a 11.5 at 130 mph in his stock 2008 Viper ( however this is not credibal like Evan Smiths magazine run)
But never fear that kill my Z06 brothers....Jamie Furmans 10.xx run bone stock is still keeping the Viper outta snakes bite range at this time..
Cant wait too see how it all turns out and I may be getting a C6Z06 in the not to distant future or saving up for the 2008 Viper a year from now..Not sure, But Ive seen a few 2006 Z06's in the 47-49K range and that seems like a hell of a lot of performance for the money..
Great time to be an american car lover man..great time
