User Support & Resources - Why don't I have the 11 second club next to my name yet?

Just wondering if something is wrong or not. I ran 11.93 @ 114 with the mods in my sig. I followed the instructions in this thread to the letter:

Last Thursday I was accepted and the 11 second group became available in my user CP. I clicked identify 11 second club and then clicked update display group. But I still see 12 second club next to my name.

I thought it might just take a little time to update so I gave it the weekend but I'm still 12 second club.

Is it normal for it to take this long after I clicked update display group or is something wrong?

I did that last Thursday. And I clicked update display group to make the changes take affect. When it didn't happen instantly I gave it a few days before I even made this post.

Wow...well I had applied and totally forgot about it. When I read this thread, I went and checked and seen that option was available and updated it. It changed for me instantly as you can see.

Maybe try messing around with it, go back to display tech addict, then try 11 sec club again.

It also might have something to do with the fact youre already listed as 12 sec club. Mods?

Well the 12 second club is no longer in my group list which is correct. My only other option besides 11 second club is tech fanatic. So for $hits and grins I clicked tech fanatic and then update. I was still 12 second club. I then went back to 11 second club and clicked update. I'm still 12 second club.

I guess I've been 12 second club for so long that it doesn't wanna leave :lol:

Really, you fixed it -- Adrian did. He has been great at getting the new Data base on line.

I don't see anything wrong with any of the Titles NOW. Good things come to those who waits.

Man put a gear in that car.. After that you will be flyin.. I have a cam, exhaust, a bench computer tune, and a 4.10 gear and I thru down a 12.3 in the 1/4 spanking the rev and my car is an automatic.. That should be your next upgrade is a 3.73 or 4.10 gear in that 10 bolt, and then when that blows up get a 9"... Other than that good job with the 11 second pass..

Funny you say that since my 4.10's just arrived yesterday afternoon. The guy who built the cam said my car needs 4.10's and a 6700 shiftpoint to take full advantage of it. He said my 11.9 should turn into an 11.5 pretty quick :D

Hopefully I'll have them installed before Test N Tune this Friday night :D

Oh, and Navy David SS fixed my 11 second club problem. He's the best!

darren, you are running 11's on a stock rear end, and you added 4.10's. You know what your next mod is going to be. I have been there, broke that. Drive shaft, rear-end, etc, etc. Be safe, have fun, go fast and be ready to spend like crazy to go faster.

I added a steel driveshaft so I should be fine there. The 10 bolt only needs to last one season. End of next summer I'm adding a 12 bolt and replacing the rims for a wider drag radial.

I'm running M/T 255/50R16 street radials now. I stall it up to 2000 rpm's and have to feather into a full throttle to keep from spinning. It's getting me high 1.6x 60's. So the stress at the launch is somewhat minimal. I think I can make the 10 bolt last one summer with this teqnique. We shall see :devil:

I might have been a little optimistic on that. I actually gained traction with the 4.10's and lifted my front tires tonight :eek:

Last week my best 60' was 1.68 with a best pass of 11.93 @ 114.40. This week my best 60' was 1.61 with a best pass of 11.76 @ 115.80 :D

If I pull the front tires off the ground a few inches again it might spell doom for my poor 10 bolt :bang:

I was suprised my car still moved.. Thats a chevy for ya.. She will allways get you home..

Congrats on the 11 club. One day i will be in that club.
