Default Cheapest way to get into a supercharger?

What route is the cheapest to get into say an 8-9 PSI 400+ supercharger kit? Looks like a turbo setup would be way expensive and hard to fit in a TA so I would like to looks at some supercharger packages.

look into used setups in the classified sections, still going to cost you some decent coin though.

The cheapest way is to sell the car you have an buy one already on a car. Trust me, that is the CHEAPEST.

Otherwise, you can buy a used one and start the checklist for forced inductions listed in the sticky. The supercharger kit is cheap, it is the supporting mods that will add up. Well worth the investment. They are fun!

I am still saving to get traction (ie. rear end and rear suspension) to put the Procharger power to the ground. It is a long time coming, but I know it is well worth it in the long run.

I highly recommend planning your project as well. Not having to buy the same part twice will save you a lot of money. Do a lot of research on this forum and also ask questions as they come up.

Good luck with your upcoming project.

If 400- 450 hp is enough, stick with a good heads/cam/exhaust setup. There is no cheap turbo or supercharger setup when you figure in the progression of things that need to be changed or adapted IMO.

^^^ I agree. If I had to do it over again, I would have bought an already modified car.
