Did you guys end up going to the track after the cruise? We were beat so we left early. The Syclone wasn't liking the hot weather and almost 9 hours straight of driving by the time we got back home.

well apparently you haven't been on this cruise before..the last couple of years we stayed in the right lane and guess what we kept getting cut off and many people almost got in accidents, this year we stayed to the left and it was much better...by the way dkitchen nice vid, hopefully next year it will be even bigger

It was a 9/11 Memorial Cruise. We all got in a line all the way around the beltway which circles The District of Columbia. We then ended up in the parking lot of the Pentagon which got hit by one of the planes on that fateful day. We also got to go over and see the new 9/11 Memorial which had just been dedicated earlier in the week. All in all it was just a good old time and definitely showed pride to be American and honor of those who lost their lives.

Plus it was good to get out and be around cars that guys actually DRIVE not just trailer to shows and don't bother starting up

Edit: I watched that second video too, this needs to be shown to the Mustang doofs and G.O.N.E. show fellas and show them that it IS possible to leave a car show/meet and NOT crash into every car in sight! It's called throttle control boys!

yes there was a brand new GTR there. lol i wish i new you were there i wouldve come flying by instead of revving it after i was already past you...Oorah giant flag though my roof! haha, that made it real easy to spot my car in the line up...even though i was the ONLY NBM T/A there.

It was a great event again this year. My unofficial count at the park before the cruise was 98 cars. A few stayed at the park, and a few took early exits off the beltway, but I believe there were 90 in the above clip on the beltway. There were a few forums involved and the cruise included some hemi's, Corvettes, Mustangs, GTO's, Fbodys, a Syclone, a few Grand Prix's, and a new skyline and tuner 350Z showed up at the last minute and joined in as well. One of the participants (blue C6 Vette) was severely injured in the Pentagon attack and has joined us the last two years. Already looking forward to next year. I think if the weather forecast didn't look so bad, some of the people that drove in from WV and NC the last two years would have come again. The GTO participation was about half of last years too, but the red GTO with the drag wheels should count for 4 cars

Nah you're like the people that were on the beltway in 2006. We had about 65-70 cars. All of us in the middle lane until our exit came up. Obviously a parade, all the cars had huge American Flags on them, it was 9\11, and multiple people like yourself were shouting ******* and giving the entire parade the finger because we made him lose a whole 10 seconds of his day as he switched lanes to go around us. If people on the DC Beltway have NO idea why they see a parade of American Flag on September 11th, they need to try to remember what day it is.
