Default Head Gaskets

Hello all, Ive been a lurker on this site for awhile just reading up info. I recently just started my bachelors in Automotive technology At my University. I'm in Engines class right now and I've learned a ton. I thought i knew a lot before i started class wow was i wrong. ANYWAY I have a 1997 Fire bird 3.8, and i finally found out why there's that peanut butter brown goop looking stuff in my radiator ITS OIL. Which means my head gasket is leaking somewhere, it makes sense because I've been needing to fill my crank with oil about every 15 hundred miles.

So basically i'm just looking for any input anyone's got on this job. Planning on doing both head gaskets, new head bolts. Thinking about doing headers just for *****? Anyone know of any direct replacement 3.8 headers? I'm not trying to get performance out of it just maybe make it breath a little easier. Maybe Send my heads out to get cleaned up along with a valve grind job. What I'm going for is just a wrenching car, just want it to work and do minor things to benefit its life. This car will most likley be my daily driver for awhile. ANYONES INPUT IS APPRECIATED THANKS GUY!!
