I recently gernaded the Tru Trac in my 9" and I ordered a spool and 35 spline axles. My car is also a sprayed m6 street/strip car that will be making around 550rwhp.

I ordered a spool also...didn't want to have to worry about breaking a TrueTrac. I rarely drive my car though so not too worried about it.

I have one in my M6 TA with 35 splines. I don't mind the streetability of it but hate what it does to tires. I enjoy driving my car around town to run errands but the BFG's are suffering. I would wait until you have enough cash and get a Detroit locker for it.

I have a spool in mine and as long as your not real conservative, it's the only way to go in a m6 car with some decent power. It feels fine except for tight spots like parking lots. Then you just need to give it some throttle and get on with it. Going slower makes it worse in tight turns.

as long as you have money for tires and don't drive in the rain or snow you should be fine
