Default Anbody using a Nikon D70s?

Anybody still using one of these? I bought one brandnew a couple years ago planning on getting into learning all the settings and etc but never really found the time to do so. Ive used it a couple times on Auto but thats about it. Now that gas is outrageous Im thinking of starting to learn and figure this thing out. Ive got the standard 17-55mm lense that came with it and also a 70-300mm lense that I bought seperate both with UV filters. If anyone is still using these and have pics to post up please do so and also post the specs for that image. Id like to see what this thing can do and whether or not I should keep it or sell it and buy something newer.

Thanks!

You can definitely get good pics with that, I use a D200 but they will accept the same lenses.

I picked up it's replacement, the D80, a few weeks ago. D90 came out and got my D80 on sale. D70 is still a really nice camera, it's more technique and experience than anything. Getting really crazy with it you need really nice equipment, but an average photographer with great equipment will make good pictures, but a great photographer with average equipment will probably wreck the other guy all day long.

There are several good forums and websites with good tips - I'd also suggest picking up a few of the training DVD's out there from ebay or www.bhphotovideo.com or www.adorama.com or amazon, etc. There are several specific to different Nikon DSLR's and that should help demystify it a ton.
