Far left corner of the dash up aginst the "A" Pillar, Shift light at about 5 o'clock. You can kind of see it in my sig pic.

Found some pics, sorry still a work in progress. But I used only hardware that came with the tach aswell.

You can see mine in this pic next to the A pillar. I love it, looks cool and is SO much more accurate then the stock POS.

Good question, i was wondering the same thing. Also, why do you guys have the 5" tach, is it really more accurate and worth the money or no?

Night and day more accurate. Plus the stocker only goes to 7 grand. I'm shifting at 6700+, and wanted "more" tach.

I just placed mine where I though it looked good using the pedestal mount that came with it. Then used a Sharpe to mark the locations of the holes in the pedestal, then drilled small pilot holes. Took the tach out of the pedestal, Then screwed the pedestal to to the a pillar. Put the tach back in and boom its done.

Default best tach

What are the big diff between the models of the auto meter tach's..... what sould I look for as in lighting(through the dial) etc. I just want to make sure I get what I need. The unltra light II seems to be popular.....is it just due to the color or is there any bennifit

Well considering the factroy tach only goes up to 7 grand and I'm shifting near that and wanted a easy to read accurate tach.

Not to mention the factory tach is super slow. I had just a shift light before I did the cam and the difference was crazy.
