Looks great. A little too much red in the engine bay for me though. It still looks good though

Awesome. It is a little overwhelming with the red, but I LOVE the matched lid! Very

Wow, that is a lot of red going on there, and is it a 35th Anniversary SS? I can't tell. :p

I general, I see your theme. I like most of what you have done, The FRC's are very sharp and I like the wya the stripes of the lid "flow" to the FRC's. I'll be honest, you got way too carried away with the "35th Anniversary" logo. It is a version to be proud of but not "in your face" The "SS" on the rear caliper looks wierd - but I feel "SS" on any caliper is too much. The car number on the caliper is strange, and makes no sence. Look at the Corvette Z06 and the Grand Sport the caliper still states "Corvette"

I like the wire loom ends and "T"s but have never like "accenting" ugly wires.

I like the "bowtie" on the PS pump.

Sounds funny after some many have stated there is too much red but paint the oil dipstick handle red.

Things to consider:

Paint the fugly grey nose support gloss black.
Get a cover for the PCM
Smooth and paint the backs of the head lights

I like the clean and sophisticated look.

I have to agree on this one. The red tubing has to go. I know it was a lot of work but it screams "AutoZone". I'd also simplify the calipers. Calipers are jsut not an appropriate place for some of that stuff. It gets a bit carried away.

I do like the FRCs and other details though.

I do plan on painting the nose support gloss black. I am also looking into the PCM cover and a maybe the fuse covers from LS1speed.com. I have tried to make my 35th SS different, that's why I did the calipers the way i did. I have thought about taking the red wire loom off, but I do like the way it looks, and just so you know, nothing on the car was purchased at pep boys, or autozone.

Neat stuff. I agree on the red convulated tubing, it is better to hide cables than to highlight them. The calipers are OK, but they cry for zinc washed rotors, since they draw so much attention. Otherwise, it looks great.

seems like people are thinking it has the "ricer" look b.c of the red wire loom. I may end up taking some of the red wire loom on and leaving alittle bit, but just putting black back on. I've also thought of getting a black strut tower brace, but thought it would clash too much with the fuel rail covers.

I would not say "ricer". Your car is far too nice and touhgt out to be a "ricer". I equate it back to the old street rods. Look at the engine bay of a really sweet tricked out 50's pick up or late 60's Camaro. The designers hide things, they go though tremdous lengths to route and hide hoses and wires so they are invisible, and this is on modern powerplants.

Strut tower looks fine red, if anything change it to silver to compliment the stripes.

Other ideas. hide the ground wires, hide the air pump line, hide the big wire harness, route the air pump intake filter way low so it is hidden . . . . I'm on a theme - HIDE!

Changing some of the mounting hardware is good too.

Straighten out the windshield washer cap - my pet peave . . :p

Very nice car and your enthusiam shows - you've worked hard, keep it up.

Do you have any instructions or guides on how to hide all the wires you have hidden?

There are photos in my album - called "Operation Hide It"

http://www.poltergeist.us/misc/WireMod/

But FYI, if you move the hole more towards the engine, and make more of a rectangle or and oval, you can doit with only needing to cut two wires and one vacuum ine.

I think there's a tad too much red but it still looks nice.

As a side note, I wish people would stop using the word "rice". It gets construed to anything that someone doesn't like on a car, so then it becomes rice. The term, IMO, has no relevant meaning anymore.

Sorry for the rant.

Looks good but as said a little too much red. I don't think wire loom is a bad thing but that's if it's used on wires. The brake lines and a/c lines look way better all polished up.

Very nice looking car ....

Just my opinion, but, get rid of [all] the red wire loom in the eng. compartment.

It totally takes your eyes away from those beutiful fuel rail covers.

Way too much red with that wire loom, or whatever they call it. It just cheapens an otherwise very good looking car.
