Default Car sits to low

I bought the car with qa1's up front and need to raise it up to help with the 408, I was told what I need is lt1 springs what are you all thinking Thanks Brandon

Are you using the QA1 type springs on the front now or stock style springs?

I think they are stock springs with qa1 coil overs

Question

Why don't you just adjust the spring seat up higher.

However much you want to raise the front up, just move the threaded spring seat up 1/2 that amount.

do i need to buy the shim kit when i buy a spanner wrench or can i just get the dual spanner wrench and be fine?

The thrust washer kit helps the spring turn easier. You don't have to have it but it does make it easier. If you need the thrust washer and spanner kit i have them or if you just need the spanner wrench we've have that too.

sorry for me asking but what is the dual spanner wrench for, I heard that you need two of them and saw summit has the dual for fairly cheap.

Their used to adjust you ride height.

Yeah, thats all you need;One to hold the spring seat still, and the other to loosen/tighten the lower collar(jam nut).

FYI,
Spray some WD40, or dry lube on the threads right above the spring seats before trying to loosen them, and be prepared to lose some skin on your Knuckles in the process.
