absolute speed ported ls6 heads vs. ported 5.3 heads

absolute speed ported ls6 heads vs. ported 5.3 heads im still weighin my options for a good head/ cam combo for a winter project...
im lookin at either a TR230 or the G5X-2 cam...
i know for sure ill be goin to absolute speed for my heads however, but not sure if its worth it to spend a bit more for the ls6 stage 2 heads, or just go with 5.3 heads...
my question is does the added compression from the 5.3 heads offset the better flow of the ls6 ones? Cartek is gettin SWEEEEEEEEET numbers out of their ported ls6 heads with "relatively" smaller cams.. thanks in advance for the feedback..

Re: absolute speed ported ls6 heads vs. ported 5.3 heads depends on how much you want to pay, that 1200 dollar core charge sucks. I'm waiting on heads b/c i plan on getting a 383 all bore in the future. Don't want to have to buy heads then buy another set or get them re worked. Just going to run my cam with my 241 cast heads. If you are going heads and cam, then stick with the 5.3's and save some cash.
