Just because it's not street legal, doesn't mean it isn't TRACK legal Make an auto-cross car out of it! Everyone makes drag cars, and these cars should handle like a dream with 49/51 weight distribution they have.

I wish I had the money for the intake if you did :\

have you talked to the guy??? what is the lowest he will go on it because the market for parts isnt as good as it used to be and the parts that i see that everyone wants are bad on the car...you can prolly make what your time is worth and thats about it..just remember all the time you will put into this parting it out

If you want to make money dont pay over 1000 bucks for that thing. Id say 300 for the body scrapped out and around 700-800 for the motor and tranny and then everything else you sell off the car is profit. 1750 is just way too much, especially if your trying to make money

man, I'd love to have this car!

gut/strip it down to like 2900lbs (who cares? its not street legal)
sell all the stock parts to offset the cost of:
junkyard TH350/shift kit+ cheap converter
cheap, half rusted down pacesetters
used CC306, el cheapo PBM springs (like... $24 bucks for all 16!)
cheap wet kit that sprays ATLEAST 150 shot
M/T drag radials,
bore the stock TB to 52mm/new blades (if your machine-friendly)
knock-off walbro
custom, bad-***, go to hell tune=

BAM!

10second car for $2500 bucks

me and a somewhat ricer friend wanna see who can build the fastest/consistent car for $2500 bucks including purchase. I think a car like this would be the one to do it.

I e-mailed him and asked whats the lowest he would take and he said $1700, less than that and hes going to part it out.

I think im gunna let this pass. I bet if I showed up with a thousand in cash he would take it though. Oh well keep searching for deals...

yea that is the best thing to do....there are cars every where for a little bit of drive you can pick up with titles and a hell of alot nicer parts on them for less than that..they may have something like tranny or of that nature but they def beat the hell out of buying something like that for this price...keep looking and you will find deals
