Default de-baffled hood pics

i tried searching but couldn't find much. does anybody have any close up pictures of preferably SS hoods with the baffles taken out? i know it wont be a performance gain but it might look a little better. i just want to see if it looks smooth without baffles or if there are little tabs showing. thanks!

the underneath of a stock ss hood also has 4 slim holes. i used a dremel and made 1 huge hole.

dont know if it actually helped or anything

yea, i doubt it does anything for power, i just think baffled scoops look kind of pointless in a way. so you did have to grind some tabs off in the scoop to make it look smooth?

no grinding required, just a flat head to lift the tiny plastic tabs on the scoop insert...2 minute job at the most

Here's some of my buddy's SS. His didn't have the baffle when he bought it but there's a sticker behind it from the factory. He ended up getting a baffle for it.

And mines the pretty blue one with the little engine that could.

i took mine out last night. if i would have known it was that easy i wouldn't even have made this thread haha, i though you had to break off the little tabs and not be able to put it back on. i think it looks good, i just need to touch up where the pewter meets the black so it's not so rough on the edge. thanks guys.
