3.23 Gears and RPO GU5
I know I have an RPO GU5 that is supposed to have the 3.23's. In the owners manual it only states that some of these cars have the included "limited slip".
With the search feature I was able to find out that
1-I have 3.23 gears (because of RPO GU5)
2-I have a four channel (that means I have traction control right?)
3-I have a three series carrier (3.23 Gears or higher)
Can some one let me know if I'm on the right track?
Also,
I wasn't able to find any info about the limited slip. i don't know if it needs any differential additive from GM. I don't even know if it is a limited slip. Can someone also shed some light if it's an Auburn gear setup or if it's something else.
Thanks

You are correct about the TZ. Most gear oil manufacturers say the additive isn't needed or included in their product, but I put it in anyway as recommended by the owners manual. If you decide to use it put it in first before filling.

I'll probably just use it anyways since I hear that if you don't use it you will start to get a rock crushing noise. LoL
