4.10's on street tires?
I recently purchased a set of motive 4.10's and was going to have them installed this weekend due to the fact i dont like the stock long gearing. My car currently only has a lid, but i will be ordering Lt's/true duals/ported tb this weekend.
Will i be roasting the tires in 1st if i run the 4.10's on street tires with just the bolt-ons?
And yes its a stock 10-bolt which is why i dont want to run radials.

Agreed, but you will have traction issues in first. and maybe in second. I think that you will be in the market for some radials before too long. the 10-bolt is gonna break when it breaks. I doubt that whether or not you are running radials on the street is going to matter too much. In otherwords, if it is gonna break it will do so on both radials and street tires.

If the car spins in motion from a 1st gear roll thats not a big deal to me. i just dont want to be doing rolling burnouts with just bolt-ons. not worried about breaking the rear anytime soon on street tires. after feb ill be upgrading to a 9"

You'd definately roast them off with street tires, bolt-ons, and 4.10's. With just 3.73's, shorties, cai, no cat, and a cutout, I'd roast them off through 2nd on street tires in my LT1. Even after I put some 275 street tires on, I had a lot of traction issues going from a 1st gear roll. The Nitto's hook hard though, even with the LT's and true duals.
