Was going down the highway in Mexico...and there was that 300 srt8 in the middle lane. He was game and he punches it immediatly when I got besides(1 car behind) and I was ready to punch it!

...the outcome was shocking to me; I thought I was going to reel him real good but no!; I was very very slowly passing him. I even needed full 2nd and 3rd gear to catch him with a car behind(when he punched it) and get a car on him. After that, he disapeared quickly on the first exit..

This is too bad, because I really want to know if this guy was modded because if not, I think theres something wrong with my car!!!

Too bad I'll never know, except that I'm feeling that my rear end is slowly going away...

Anyway, those srt8 are scary fast..or my car not that fast anymore

I would have your car checked...last I looked the average SRT8 runs about what I do stock.. with the rare event being a 12.7 pass @ 110ish mph. H/C/I LS1 should be no where near these times...

I know, I know, but honestly, I think my car is ok. I'm thinking more hes heavily modded... supercharged? boltons? or N2O???

Because I have somewhere close to 10mph more so should be an easy kill!!

I think hes modded and thats why he got off so quickly after death..

are u auto or manuel.......if ur auto check ur tranny. mine i couldnt even tell was busted. i thought i had worn the motor but it was my tranny.

Hey Johnny he probably was modded because stock vs stock it's a close race. They're capable of low 13's/high 12's at 107+ stock but with your mods you'd destroy those times. I'm about to put a H/C package on my GTO and I know a stock or mildly modded SRT-8 would be the least of my worries.

well, it looks like my car is fucked up; my eng sen keeps blowing so the MAF isnt reading and the car is running like crap since then...looks like a wire is burnt somewhere from I read in the tech section..

problem solved; headers was burning some wires and causing a shortcircuit.. Still thinking that srt8 was a fast bitch...of course I was on motor only
