Default Dyno Yesterday, Track Today

Backround: about 2.5 years ago I had dynatech LT's, ORY, Borla cat-back, SLP lid with ram air, TB bypass, 3.73 gears in the stock rear, and a SPEC 3 clutch. The car made 344 rwhp and 356 rwtq.

I then installed a FAST 78 mm throttle body and a cam (230/236, .551/.551 112LSA) The car made 420 rwhp and 374 rwtq. My best pass was a 12.17 @ 117.9 mph, but my driving wasn't the greatest (no power shifting).

I then installed a Moser 12-bolt with 4.10's, a March Crank Pulley, and Royal Purple Fluids. I was able to whittle my times down to a best of 11.96 @ 117.21 mph.

Recently I purchased a nitrous kit to install over the winter. I also installed chrome 17x9 TTM wheels, a heavy duty driveshaft, and put the high flow cats back on.

At this point I had no idea what I was making for power, so I took it back for a retune and dyno testing. They pulled some timing and readjusted the air fuel for the cats. This was done on the same dyno as previous. I ended up with 400 rwhp and 363 rwtq. Not too bad for all the power robbing changes I made. The graph will be posted in the next day or two.

Today I went to Lebanon Valley Dragway. The weather was good (around 60-65 degrees at the warmest) with little wind. I ran a best of a 12.07 @ 116.5 mph and later trapped 117.4 mph and 117.3 mph back to back in the warmest part of the way. I was having big traction problems though and think it was from going from 16 inch DR's to 17 in DR's. I'll be getting some slicks over the winter to go with the N2O kit.

Also, I forgot to mention, that my baseline when I drove the the car to the shop was 389/355 this last time. With timing and air/fuel changes they were able to get me back up to the 400/363 that I left with. The car gained between 4 and 8 hp from 3800 to redline, it peaks around 6200 rpm, but it very flat, only losing about 2-5 hp to 6600+ rpm.

I still can't freakin believe how long your peak power holds out. It was STILL HOLDING when they let off and that was already holding from like 6300 RPM to 6800. I hate your car.

Thanks! My best was the 11.96 in my sig previously, but on that run my 60' was still only a 1.82. Over the winter I'm gonna go with either MT radials or Hoosier radials and hope to drop it into the 1.6's and hopefully crack an 11.7 on motor.
