Default LS1 DS/Nitros Results

Put NOS on the car this week, was worried that this LS1 DS Ive got would tear into pieces. It held up good the first time out on 4-150shot passes.

The cars 60s were 1.4x running a 7.1x et in the 1/8th.

Very nice! What was the mph? Other mods? Previous best run?

I just put a beefed up driveshaft in my 2002, so I'll be installing the stocker into my 1994.

Wanted to share that because Ive heard alot of stories of guys breaking these driveshafts with less. Maybe the auto is saving it and maybe it will break next outing but I wanted to put some good press out about these DS being able to hold some power.

If/when it breaks I will update the thread.

Nice to hear. I've heard some horror stories, and seen the pictures to back them up, of the driveshaft breaking at 125+MPH.

Yes that was the only thing I was worried about...knew the rest of the car would hold it fine. After the first pass I threw that out the window.

Could be another saving grace...havent run the qtr. I will need another gear I know for sure on the bottle, nearly run out of gear with these 4.10s/TH350 in the 1/8th.

Those are some nice 60s. I'm guessing that's not on the 10 bolt? What tires are you running?

Thanks, I think the car has more in it still on that shot. It is a 12bolt Moser...28/10.5s M/T.
