Thumbs down computer question?

I read about how the new pontiac g8 cuts of cylindar on the highway is there a way to do that with a ls1? how about with a computer swap?

no, the ls1 does not have the DOD hardware.

A LS1 will get 30 mpg on the highway if you have a M6, dod won't get you much better.
