Default 216/220 cam to 222/224 XE 112 dyno #s

After everyone making fun of my 'tiny' cam I tossed in an off the shelf 222/224 566/568 112LSA +2 comp cam XE. Picked up around 15 peak and ~20 over the old cam up high, under 5000 looks the same. I did add some 3" catco cats also so the gain was probably a bit higher for just the cam but I couldnt take the rasp/smell anymore. I'm pretty happy with 417rwhp through cats/hooker exh and a 3.90 12 bolt. Still have the stock TB and dyno the car just as I drive it off the street with 17" SS wheels. Car really doesnt drive too much different then the 216/220 114 except the idle is a lot rougher naturally, nothing earth shattering nowadays but a good gain for 200.00 (after selling the old cam) and a couple hours work

Great gains. I am hopping for the same I am going from 218/218 .563/.563 114 to a 224/228 .570/.560 114.

I have TEA stage 1.5s with 918 springs cleanup milled (~10.5:1), grott LTs, FMS 3" Y w/catco cats, hooker catback, ASP pulley, TSP lid, ls6 intake, stock flywheel/spec stage III, moser 12 bolt w/390s.
