Default Bottle heater problem

My bottle heater will only come on if there is no nitrous in the line and the bottle is closed. If there is nitrous in the line it will not come on. If I close the bottle and purge it a bit it will then come on. Any suggestions? Thanks

sounds like it has a pressure sensor on bottle! If so most has a adjustment for on & off.

Check the wiring on the relay. It sounds like you wired it to the noramlly closed side of it. You trigger wires should be connected to pins #85 & #86 and your heater wires should be #87 & #30.

What type of heater is it. What pressure switch are you using?

How do you have it wired? Do you have a diagram or picture? What pin do you have the heater connected to on the relay? It still sounds like the heater is connected the the relay wrong. Post some wiring info!

Did you follow the attached diagram in the instructions? If you don't have them to double check, shoot me an email and I'll send them to you.

I will check all the wiring out. I did not install it so I am unsure of it at the moment.

Sure not a problem. Shoot me a PM once you get a chance to look it over and we'll go from there. Thanks!

Bottle heater was wired wrong. Not that I am surprised. All the shoty work that was done on this install, from a sponsor too.
