Default ATI Twin ICs - Move to front side by side?

Just following up on a discussion I had today. With the ATI Procharger twin IC kit (for a C5), could they be placed up front under the bumper to increase efficiency? I think they'd have to remain independent instead of all the flow going through both of them consecutively. But could it be done?

No wonder these IC's are insufficient, they are tiny.

Yes, but I'm talking about making do with what comes with the kit before going single FMIC. Sorry I wasn't clear enough. Changing to FMIC wasn't in the question.

You never want to run twin IC's in serial (one after the other) because you end up with less heat rejection (the 2nd one doesn't do much work) and double the restriction. Move them if you want, but make sure they are fed in parallel.

If anything I'd flip one so the inlet is on the top right and weld the two together. Inlet = top right and outlet = bottom left. That would be a lot cheaper than buying a FMIC core and work better than what is pictured. That's if you can weld aluminum or know someone who will really cheaply.
