I run 8.8 at 80 Mph in the 8th.
with a 2.23 60ft


ive seen other LT1's with headers CAI tune and other little bolt ons running 8.8-9.4

what do yall think?

my 94 with hooker catback and cai and 80k miles on it. ran a best of 8.7 at 81 with a 2.1 60ft through an auto and 3.23

sounds like it runs good.... i dont believe in "factory freaks" though... some cars run good.. some dont.. yours runs good.. one of the faster lt1s ive seen though. good job

i think there are factory freaks, seen a 93 z28 run low 13's. it was stock down to the paper filter

yeah im hoping to jump on a dyno pretty soon to get some numbers. but for now i just know ive seen a few Lt1's out at the track not running what i am and have a bit more done to theirs.

when i just had lid and slp loudmouth... i was running about a tenth to 2 tenths faster than the other ls1s that were there.. they had a range from full bolt ons to minor bolt ons and itty bitty cams..

Mine runs 8.82 at 82 mph with a 2.09 60' with nothing done but a cold air intake, shorty headers, and an exhaust cut out. I have been told mine is a "freak" as well. I run on 5 year old drag radials in the humid *** Texas weather. Oh and mine is a 6 speed. Props on the good times!

I think you're under estimating your tune. A good tune can easily do what your car is doing.

93's seem to have more factory freaks than other years.

Tha car definitely runs strong, but I agree that you could have picked up wuite a bit from the tune. Let us know how it does on the dyno.
