Default Got a new daily driver: Pontiac G6 GTP.

I was about do for a new daily driver. I was going to get a GXP, but not a fan of the new "cladding" they added. Luckily I found a left over GTP and got a great deal. Has pretty much every option but leather (thank god). Nice car overall, 3.6 VVT DOHC 24 valve V6 (252 hp), 6 speed auto, 18" wheels, dual exhaust, and a bunch of bells and whistles. Runs mid 14's and gets almost 30 mpg's. Already had the windows tinted, gonna do a nice system and a few other things. Not to much though, the SS is the money pit still. Here are a few pics, let me know what you think.

I was all over the place car wise. I am a GM guy at heart, but I like the Milan Premier but GM gave me better financing, the Altima SE, but everyone and their mom has one, I even looked at the Cobalt SS like you got, but it was a little to small. I really wanted a G8 GT, but with a new house, new furniture and a recent engagement ring purchase, I had to "settle" on this. My plan is to keep it a two/three years to pay it totally off. Then trade it in on a G8 GT or GXP.

It sure does, on a recent 400 mile trip I averaged 28 and change.

We were planning on a GTP, but when they replaced that with the GXP, we "settled" for the GT. It's a shame because we really wanted the 3.6 with the 6 speed auto, but they ruined it with the horrible bumpers.

The only problem we've had is the brakes make a bit of noise. Enjoy the car!

Same thing here man, I didn't like the GXP bumpers at all, and I to was gonna settle on a GT with the optional 3.9. But I got lucky and found a left over GTP with the high feature 3.6/A6.

I've put 2000 miles on it so far. Averaging 27 mpg and it rides great. Has decent power too.
