9" in 3 channel (non traction controle) car?

Default 9" in 3 channel (non traction controle) car?

HOW do I do it?

I REALLY REALLY want a 9" but only have 3 channel ABS in my car.....

you can have a 9in but your going to have to give up ABS to do it.

One thing you could try is to get an exciter ring pressed on one of the rear axles. Then get a backing plate from a 2001+ TCS car and put it on that same side. Then just splice the two wires over to the sensor. If it works, you'd at least have it on one wheel, FWIW

A guy off of camaroz28.com did it successfully. He used a gear from a forklift or something, mounted it on the driveshaft and then mounted a bracket for the sensor on the transmission. Pretty slick.

I'm not sure if the amount of teeth on the gear/position ring matters as long as there is a constant reading to the sensor.

He had pics, but I don't have them anymore, and I don't remember his name.

You can do anything you want with some research .

gear....as in GEAR GEAR (like in a tranny or something) or was it a reluctor wheel (like would be for ABS)?

Im pretty sure mosers axles have the reluctor ring on there axles if u by a moser axle and housing.And dont listen to every body badmouthing moser only the few with problems are going to speak up,but they have a right to they did spend alot of money on there product,Mine does not leak.I called moser about the ford 9 and asked them numerous ? about the rear end. by the way 9s are great i am as we speak building another center section right now with a spool and 4.33s

just take it off your 10bolt and transfer to the axles for the 9inch.

That won't work as the axle sizes are different. Plus, he doesn't have reluctor rings on his, since it's a 99.
