going rate for a used 12 bolt I am in college, so I am on a budget. I was looking around for a slightly used 12 bolt. 3.73, eaton posi, 30 or 33 spline (doesn't really matter), 4 channel. What kind of prices should I be looking for? A local guy told me 2200 obo for one that just was rebuilt but he put 2500 miles on it prior. 3.73's ta cover and 33 spline w/ eaton posi. I think that's a little high. What should I expect?

Shop around. I found one for $1600 w/3.5" aluminum driveshaft. It is just like the one you found minus the T/A cover, but mine came with a DS. I know I got a monster deal, but you should be able to find one in the $1800-$1900 range. Good luck, and be patient.
