Trying to see if SLP will do a Group Purchase.
How many would be interested in a Group Purchase in SLP's new
dual muffler PowerFlo catback P/N: 31083 for the dual/dual tips or P/N: 31084
for the the 4" tips and the P/N: 31085 for the 3.5" tips. They sell for
$699.95...I'll take the ball and run and contact SLP tomorrow to fine out
what they can do. I talked to one shop on the phone and they said it
fits very good and it's all stainless. I know SLP can be difficult to budge their
pricing but i'll see. Just please post or better yet PM me so i can have more
fire power with SLP. Unless no one is interested..lol. Thanks
P.S. I hope i'm in the right section this time..lol.
Lets hope they can drop the price somewhere close to the Magnaflow.

New Car: 2002 Camaro SS, A4 Hardtop, Stock for now.
2002 Black WS6, A4, 3.23 SOLD

Come on guys lets see if we can get SLP to drop their price.
I know they are a little difficult about lowering prices, but if enough people
chime in maybe they'll do something. They are asking $699.95 which is a crazy price for a system thats unproven. Both Borla and Corsa have mixed reviews. Some like them and others don't and they are over $700 and they weigh a ton. I think its a good thing the SLP system weights what a stock system weighs. I realize its all stainless and that they give you a choice of different tips, but damn $700? If they keep that price i'm affraid they'll have no choice but to discontinue it. I think a fair price would be in the $525 to $550 range with your choice of tips included, and a price of $450 for the kit without tips, just incase you want to buy your own style. So how many of you would be interested in it
if they did drop its price to $525 to $550 + shipping?

P.S. The mufflers don't need to be polished, which saves even more.
So lets post up as much as possible.

Well if anyone cares, i called an left a message with SLP's customer service department.
I told them that I'm a LS1Tech member and that i started a group purchase request for their new catback and gave them my cell number. So hopefully they will call back and either tell me to go to hell or tell me to get a certain number of serious members. And its not like its a crappy part. It weighs the same or is lighter than a stock system and its a striaght-thru design so its gotta free up alot of HP. But it is a little funny that people wil buy an intake manifold that cost $800+ but is only a paper weight without a $450 TB and to get more power from it you can spend a couple hundred more for a total of $1,400 + to get what 25 peak rwhp? And maybe 20 average rpm rwhp? Thats $70 per horsepower!! That definately ranks a 9 out of 10 on the Crazy as Hell-O meter.

Got a call from SLP the other day and Tom gave me a number to one our
sponsors to see if they will do a GP for this exhaust.
