Default Gold on NBM?

Try to think of something different. What do you guys think about gold wheels and a gold CETA mod on a NBM ws6? Don't know if it would be too tacky, aka look like a ricer.

Preciate the input.

DO it and find out! lol.. the second gen blue T/A's had big gold birds on the hoods and gold wheels.. As long as its a subdued gold you should be straight i think.

Im thinking about getting my speedlines painted and doing a gold CETA on my car as well.. Good luck.

if it was a darker gold in night super bright it might actually look pretty good. like a blend of copper and gold.

gold wheels would look sweet, not sure about the ceta mod tho - just paint the trans am emblems on the door gold and that should add a nice touch to it

McNord, are those the gold HP Evos on your car? Have they been painted a custom gold or are they the gold color that HP puts on their wheels? That's what i'm looking for.

Still thinking of a way to integrate the gold into the body. What about gold blackbird stripes or white blackbird stripes with a gold pinstripe accent?

I'm thinking the gold CETA might be too much.

I know that dragonz28 makes his emblems available in a gold finish go to emblempros.com and see what might work for the setup. I have a mesh wheel on NBM and it looks nice and I think as long as its a darker gold you could really pull off something different and interesting looking. Good luck with the car!

CETA would be too much as well as any kind of stripes. The mesh wheel is intricate and a stripe package of any kind would over complicate the look you are going for I think. Keep it simple and elegant. NBM is great subdued color that needs an accent not a big clash of ideas. Just my opinion though.

That's weird. I was talking about the same thing with my dad about two weeks ago. He has an NBM. I was thinking the same way the 30ths got blue wheels, put gold-chromish wheels on it.

Only problem I saw was the whole STi blue/gold thing. He kinda didnt dig the idea, but I thought it could have some potential. Its a fine line this idea.

What about a set of gold 17" or 18" snowflake wheels from Year One? I bet that would look sick.
