70k is like brand new! They hold up real good. My local PD has had 3-4 9C1 Caprices with over 50k on original long block.

Mine blew up at around 100k.. but that was due to previous owner poor maintenance.

I just hit 70K last time out with the car...so no 70K is not a lot...I see LS1 cars with more than that.

114,600 here and lost oil pressure completely 4 times while at redline, as well as found several huge chunks of metal in the oil. still kickin and hope it does for a while

mine is runnin good at 106k just finally started idling rough i think a opti change is needed soon as far as i know still the stock opti. Heads and cam full bolt ons coming soon along with six speed swap. lt1's hold up pretty good as long as you take care of them.

blew up my first one with 27,000 miles on it. But it lived a hard track life w/ spray. This time im going to run the same numbers NA.

A shot of seafoam, and oil change should do the trick. The LT1 sounds like an awesome motor!

162500 miles still haulin on mustangs. Just runnin gears, cat, borla, thermostat, true ramair, and tb bypass. SO DO IT GET THE 70,000 if maintenance kept up ur good.
