Default 4.8 injectors?

ok, I searched, I tried performancetruck.net and I googled it.....

What is the rating on the 2004 4.8 truck injector?

It appears the 6.0 is a 24.8 lb per hr injector, what about the 4.8

ACCORDING TO MY INFO THE FOLLOWING VEHICLE USE THE SAME INJECTOR.
2003-04 Express, Trailblazer 5.3
2003-04 Envoy, Savanna 5.3
2003-04 Express 4.8
2003-04 Savanna 4.8
2002-04 Denali 6.0
2003-04 Express, Silverado 6.0
2003-04 Savanna 6.0
2002-04 Alvalanche 5.3
2001-04 Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe 5.3 (T)
2001-04 Sierra, Yukon 5.3 (T)
2001-04 Silverado, Tahoe 4.8 (V)
2001-04 Sierra, Yukon 4.8 (V)
2001-04 Silverado, Suburban 6.0
2001-04 Sierra, Yukon, Denali 6.0
2004 SSR 5.3
2004 Envoy 5.3
2001-03 Silverado HD 6.0
2001-03 Sierra 1500 HD 6.0
2001-03 Silverado 2500 5.3

SO I WOULD SAY ITS IN THE PCM AND FUEL PRESSURE THAT CHANGES THE CHARACTERISTICS IN DIFFERENT VEHICLES USING THE 3 DIFFERENT ENGINES

is there a direct replacement injector for the 4.8 truck (2004) in the 40-60 lb/hr area?

Yep, the 4.8,5.3,6L after 99 all use the same 24.8lbs/hr injectors. Tuning and fuel pressure is the same for all of them.

8.1 truck injector are the same plug and play (need tuning) and about 31lbs/hr and the 8.1 Marine injectors are 43.8lbs/hr plug and play.

The software I use for tuning showed that my 2003 had 25.24 lbs/hr injectors. Are you looking for 40-60 lbs/hr injector at 3 bar(43.5 PSI) or 4 bar(58 PSI) fuel pressure? The ones I had made were 63.4 lbs/hr @ 43.5 PSI and 73.2 @ 58 PSI. The 8.1L Marine injectors flow 37.95 lbs/hr @ 43.5 PSI and 43.8 @ 58.

What mods do you have?

Here is a link to the ones I had made.

You can get the 8.1 Marine units here:

*Not sure if it's ok to post their link but will remove if needed
