Can you remove the red film on the HVAC?

You know, the red film that makes everything light up red? Is there a way to remove the film so you can make it any color you want?

Just buy a used camaro one of ebay for like $8. You can put any color led behind it. Alot easier then hacking up your only one.

k, thanks guys! You can put ANY color behind the camaro one? i thought they were blue?

The Camaro ones do have blue film behind them, so red leds are very dim....blue or white leds work best for Camaro HVAC faceplates...
